Self Care Sundaze...

Self care is a must nowadays!!! With all the stress of work, personal life, the gym, studying, and or partying it’s always great to recoup and recover for the coming week. Me personally I love to wake up cook myself breakfast, I shower and do my ”routine maintenance” which includes shaving, a body scrub and a in-shower masque. I then proceed to wax my lady bits and arm pits (that rhymed). I then move on to nail/pedi care, I usually throw some polish on to feel fancy every once in a blue moon. Once I am all finished I lotion myself down and throw on my robe and meditate for an hour or so.


Self care routines are not only good for your physical but is beneficial for your mental and emotional stability. Here are a few of it’s benefits. It helps aid in understanding yourself and your purpose. Confidence and self esteem levels will skyrocket. Decrease in stress levels. Overall it leads to living a more enjoyable life. Remember that your health an wellbeing comes first. It’s all about learning to love yourself and becoming a better version of you!


Here are some other ways you can pamper yourself on your self care day(s):

• Go get a massage

• Go on a walk

• Read

• Journal

• Pray/Meditation

• Listen to music

• Clean your room

• Unplug from the world

• Light a candle (anything aromatherapy)

• Take yourself on a date

• Self Affirmations

• Saying NO

• The list could go on!
